PPF-VET Publishes Report on Policies and Education for the Restoration Sector

The Erasmus+ Project "Preparing the Past for the Future: A VET Capacity Building Initiative for Monument and Building Restoration in Moldova" (Project No. 101128806) proudly announces the successful completion of a critical deliverable. This milestone represents a significant step forward in enhancing vocational education and training within the field of monument and building restoration.

The deliverable, titled "D2.1 Report with the Findings on a Policy and Education Level," was produced as part of Work Package 2: Needs Analysis & Best Practices. This comprehensive report provides valuable insights and recommendations for advancing the restoration sector in Moldova.

In particular, it presents an in-depth examination of existing policies and educational programs related to building and monument restoration throughout Europe. It emphasizes the development of educational programs that integrate theoretical and technical training, and provides recommendations for creating a supportive legislative framework and financial incentives. Additionally, it offers insights from European and international contexts to enhance restoration capabilities in Moldova, with a focus on using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient methods to ensure sustainable restoration practices.

The completion of this deliverable is a significant achievement for the PPF-VET project, providing a foundation for future initiatives aimed at improving VET systems and enhancing the skills of professionals in building restoration. The findings will inform policy decisions and guide the development of educational programs aligned with international standards and best practices.
